The QBE Strategic Thinking program will equip students to improve their understanding of the concept of strategic thinking, and to provide them with a range of practical tools and techniques that will enable them to apply the principles of strategic thinking in their day-day work.

- Explore a range of models of strategic thinking and how they can be applied in the workplace
- Use a case study to work through the steps of a structured approach to strategic/thinking/planning
- Practice the use of a range of practical planning tools such as stakeholder mapping and future mapping
- Explore a range of practical techniques for developing, prioritising and evaluating innovative strategy options
- Discuss and apply some principles of strategic career planning
