Emerging Leader

Specifically designed for Public Sector leaders, this program is focused on leadership emergence. New leaders can often lack confidence in their leadership ability, do not self-identify as a leader or struggle to emerge as a leader in the eyes of other. As a result, emerging leaders must develop their leadership ability to begin effectively impacting their environment including the people within it and grow their confidence in doing so. Centred on the shift of the leader’s locus of control from an external one (things happen to me) to an internal one (I make things happen), participants work on understanding their environment and looking inwards at their own values, personality, mental models and thinking preferences. Once this information is better understood, leaders can actively, and authentically, begin to create effective followers and influence them towards a common goal.
