Business Strategies

The Business Strategies unit provides participants with both a theoretical understanding of strategy and its practical implementation in order to boost confidence and critical thinking skills. Students are empowered to strategically analyse challenges in order to make smart business decisions based on desired outcomes.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Identify, analyse, and discuss the important business challenges confronting managers and leaders
  • Critically analyse the effectiveness and sustainability of an organisation’s current strategy, and where performance gaps exist
  • Use and evaluate monitoring and control processes to measure the progress of the strategy as it is implemented
  • Develop, articulate, and present competitive business strategies and visions
  • Effectively apply critical thinking skills to resolve problems independently and ethically while drawing on credible sources of information and data
