Performance Management

This course explored the end-to-end processes associated with the performance management cycle – from the setting of objectives and allocation of work through to performance reviews and recognition. Participants gained the skills and confidence to drive a performance culture, and proactively address issues of diminished performance. 

Skills / Knowledge

  • Allocate work in a way that’s efficient, cost effective and outcome focused while developing performance indicators with relevant staff
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to improve performance and conduct formal structured feedback sessions
  • Manage disagreement or conflict while recognising and rewarding outstanding performance to continuously improve performance and outcomes
  • Capture learning to inform knowledge management strategies and transfer skills to enhance performance and meet organisational and workgroup goals
